Breast Cancer Support Group

Bosom Friends & Bosom Friends Young Persons Support Groups

The group was set up in 1993. Members come from all ages and backgrounds and have had different types of breast cancers and treatments, including reconstruction. They do not give medical advice but will share experiences and offer caring support and the opportunity to talk about any concerns, no matter how small, either at meetings or over the telephone.

This group is open to all patients whether treated under the NHS or privately, and regardless of the area in which they live.

The group introduced a 'Younger Women's Group' (for those diagnosed aged under 40years) earlier this year. They will meet the same day, time and place as the main group.

Meetings

Regular meetings are held on the 1st Thursday of each month between 7pm and 8.30pm at The Parapet.
