Introduction

All Emergency Services are provided from Major Trauma care to minor injuries and minor illness.

All emergency treatments and diagnostics are provided.

Clinical Staff

The A&E department is led by the Clinical Director of Emergency Medicine.
It has:

  • 4 Consultants
  • a General Manager
  • a Clinical Service Manager
  • a Non Clinical Service Manager
  • a Lead Nurse.

A&E is situated in the Blue Zone next to the Acute Medicine Unit, and adjacent to the Radiology and Rehabillitation Units.

4 Observation Beds only.
A&E has links to all community services. It also has a GP.
