NHS Heroes – a new scheme to recognise the great work that individuals and teams do every day in the NHS – will celebrate the Health Service staff who go the extra mile to improve life for patients – from senior doctors to ancillary staff and managers.

NHS Heroes encourages patients and their families to nominate the staff members and teams whose compassion and kindness has made a difference to their lives. NHS workers will be encouraged to nominate colleagues who they see go above and beyond the call of duty everyday.
