THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE SUBMITTED COMMENTS AND QUERIES.
A FEEDBACK SESSION IS CURRENTLY BEING ORGANISED FOR NOVEMBER 2009 - date to be confirmed.
This year, following new Department of Health guidance on best clinical practice, new treatments are being introduced across the country for patients who have suffered a stroke or heart attack. This document explains why the introduction of these new treatments for patients in East Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire, and the knock on impact on the training of doctors, will mean that medical emergency patients will no longer be admitted to Heatherwood Hospital from August 2009.
In addition we want to involve local people and this document seeks your views on our proposals for new services at Heatherwood Hospital.
