Cancelling your Appointment

One in eight of our patients fail to keep their appointments. This means that other patients are waiting longer for their appointments and we are not using our staff very efficiently. It costs the Trust an average of £131.00 every time a patient does not attend.

Should you no longer require your appointment or wish to change your appointment please notify us immediately. By doing this you will enable us to offer your appointment time to another patient.
Please note that if you do not contact us to cancel your appointment and do not attend you may not automatically be offered a further appointment.

To cancel or change your appointment on-line please use our on-line cancellation form which takes no more than 5 minutes to complete.

If you would like to speak to someone about your appointment please call the Booking Centre on 01344 877919 between 0830 and 1700hrs.

GP’s and patients are currently not able to book appointments directly via the Internet. You will need to telephone the Booking Centre.

Trust Cancellations

Whilst we always endeavour not to cancel patient appointments there are occasions such as medical emergencies, staff sickness or other such unforeseen circumstances which will require us to cancel your appointment.

As soon as this situation arises we will contact you to make another appointment.
