The Booking Centre arranges most new and follow-up appointments, dealing with an average of 4,700 calls per week.

Opening Times

Our opening times for General Outpatients are:
Monday to Friday 8.30 am – 5:00 pm

All other departments:
Monday to Friday 9.00 am – 4:00 pm

Please have your hospital number available when you call.

Our busiest times for receiving calls are Monday’s; daily between 2:00 – 3:00pm, and our telephone lines are additionally closed on Wednesday between 12:00pm and 1:00pm for staff training.

We recommend that you call outside of these periods for reduced waiting times.
