Outpatient Services - After Your Appointment

Once you have finished your appointment, please return your outcome sheet (which will be given to you at the end of your consultation) to the reception desk.

If you require a further appointment

The reception staff will make another appointment for you where ever possible. Where this is not possible your receptionist will inform you of the process that will be followed.

If you need surgery

If you require surgery, a card will be completed by the doctor and sent direct to the waiting list department, who will contact you directly to arrange a date and time convenient to you, where possible.

If you require further tests

In some instances you may require a diagnostic test to be performed. The receptionist will assist you to make these appointments.

If you are discharged from clinic

A letter will be sent back to your GP by the Consultant.

A second opinion

We hope that you are happy with the care you have received from your doctor. If for any reason you are not happy and would like a second opinion, please return to your GP and request a referral for a second opinion.
