As an NHS Foundation Trust we have more freedom to shape our services without recourse to central government and to fit our catchment population.
Patients, staff and members of the public have more say in how the hospital is run and how NHS services are provided. As a Foundation Trust we are accountable to our local community and our staff through the Members' Council. Anyone over the age of 16 and within the constitution catchment areas can be a member of an NHS Foundation Trust. Further information can be found below by following the links however if you have any questions at all about becoming a member or your current membership please contact the Trust Corporate Affairs Membership Officer on 01753 633566
Council of Governors Meetings
8 February 2012, 5pm - 7pm
All meetings will be held in the PGMC Dining Room
The feedback we get from our Foundation Trust members helps us to be more responsive to local needs and wishes. Becoming a member entitles you to attend meetings and seminars, stand for election to the Council of Governors, and help shape the future of the Trust.
It's free to join: anyone over 16 who lives in our catchment area can become a member of the Trust. Your involvement can be limited or very active, and there is no commitment of time required.
This is your opportunity to influence how your local hospitals work
