What is Enhanced Recovery?

Enhanced Recovery is an innovative programme of care that supports you, our patients, in your recovery from surgery safely and as soon as possible. After a successful trial in elective hip and knee surgery, the Trust now offers the Enhanced Recovery programme in elective colorectal and gynecological surgery.
